Welcome to the world of the rhombic dodecahedron. A space filling shape superier to all other space filling shapes. Unlike the inferior cube, which only has 6 sides and therefore a disappointing 3 axes the rhombic dodecahedron has 12 sides and 6 axes! 200% percent improvement! Or 100% improvement. Math is hard.
